We’re proud to announce that Stacey, one of our bright prospects, has completed a 1 year apprenticeship and has now taken up a position within the Paralogic Service Desk team.
Stacey has joined the team full time after successfully completing courses in Windows Server Administration Fundamentals and Networking Fundamentals to gain certification as a Microsoft Technology Associate.
The apprenticeship was a mixture of remote learning, bi-monthly face-to-face training with a Microsoft Assessor, and on the job experience within the Service Desk team, which involved occasional supervised remote support for customer sites.
Stacey says: “Choosing IT as a career grew from my interest in technology as a hobby. I didn’t really expect to get the apprenticeship when I applied, but sometimes you surprise yourself!”
Stacey is opting to develop her skills through further Microsoft training courses. In her time at Paralogic she has seen a huge uptake of Microsoft Office 365. Developing the specialist skills to be involved with a constantly evolving solution like Office 365 Cloud services will make her an invaluable member of the team.
With more and more Paralogic customers set to join the 1 billion people now using Office 365, there is going to be no shortage of opportunities for Stacey to practice what she learns…
