A warm spring has brought out more than the blooms! Mysteriously, it seems to have grown the Paralogic team as we have expanded our support capability by adding another member to the Service Desk team.
This reflects the growth in our business. It’s a welcome relief up and down the country that the economy finally seems to have shaken the uncertainty monkey off its back. We are seeing this renew confidence, with business owners adopting a more positive position when it comes to making decisions on investing in support services.

Equipping Service Desk with the right tools

Unless you provide the right technology tools, increasing headcount doesn’t necessarily let you service customers effectively. You need organisational efficiency and the structured processes and procedures for managing Service Desk workload to be in place.
Paralogic has two key pieces of technology that enable Service Desk to manage support tickets and requests for assistance efficiently and effectively:

  • Call management software – this is the central Service Desk database where we record and manage our calls in line with the agreed SLAs set out within our customer contracts
  • Remote monitoring software – this powers our WatchOverIT remote monitoring services that let us manage and respond appropriately to predictable or sudden faults at customer sites
