RestoreSafe Enterprise is a software platform designed to provide secure data backup, archive and disaster recovery functionality across a distributed organisation. Designed to complement the Microsoft environment, Restoresafe replaces traditional tape backup systems.

During the day, servers are automatically backed up to a central RestoreSafe server. The data is compressed and encrypted and then copied off-site to a second (disaster recovery) server at scheduled times, usually overnight.
RestoreSafe is ideally suited to companies with multiple sites, remote users or multiple tape drives. Unlike replication, RestoreSafe emulates the tape backup process by creating and saving a complete backup each day. Subsequently, you are able to restore back to any specific day should the need arise.
